The Research and Consulting Office has conducted studies and surveys on transport and traffic issues that form the bases for comprehensive policymaking. The Office has conducted studies on themes entrusted mainly from the national and regional governments, as well as other organizations. The study results and compiled data have been used in transport and other industrial and governmental organizations. The Office has also provided information and data to individual organizations, and has cooperated with other organizations in research activities.
