KTERC and JITI co-held an international seminar on automation of vehicles, which has been promoted in an accelerated pace in U.S.A., Japan and Europe. To this seminar, KTERC and JITI invited the above-mentioned guests to cover various aspects of the topic. These aspects are such as current stages in automation of vehicles, its future perspectives, as well as its impact on people and a society.

The guest-speakers presented talks on the following topics: aims and current developments of automation of vehicles, impacts on people, basic ideas of incorporation into legal frameworks, etc. During the panel discussion session, discussions were actively developed on topics which included: automation of vehicles and future perspective of transport mobility, intra-ministerial cooperation, liability issues in case of accidents, challenges for the business of automobile maintenance and of automobile insurance, etc.
